Job Description
Our Direct Client is seeking an experienced, full-time, on-site, dedicated Candidate, with skills and expertise as described in below requirement.

Responsibilities:
The Solutions Architect will be tasked with gathering and assessing business and technical requirements, offering technological solutions, conducting product research, providing technical roadmaps, and serving as technology consultant in Enterprise strategic planning. Duties include ensuring solutions are in line with the agency’s mission/objectives; staying educated on IT trends and competitive advances in technology; and educating the IT department on new frameworks, platforms and best practices.

Required Skills and Experience:
Required 5 years - Experience in systems design, programming, implementation and integration of complex distributed IT solutions (e.g. cloud, distributed systems or high-performance computing)
Required 5 years - Broad, domain level architectural understanding of: •Modern Application Architecture •Cloud Computing •DevSecOps •IT Infrastructure •Network •IT Governance •IT Security
Required 5 years - Hands-on development experience with rules engine
Required 5 years - Experience with databases, data lakes, data modeling and data analytics with products such as PostgreSQL, Snowflake, Elasticsearch, Elk, and/or Qlik
Required 5 years - Experience with architecting security designs in compliance with security regulations such as NIST, IRS, PCI, or HIPAA
Required 5 years - Experience working in cross-functional software engineering teams that incorporate software developers, QA, and product managers
Required 5 years - Experience gathering business and systems requirements and identifying gaps
Required 5 years - Experience with Mobile architecture design
Required 5 years - Experience with Agile and other SDLC methodologies
Required 5 years - Experience with Cloud architecture and design (Azure, Google, AWS)
Required 5 years - Knowledge of hyper-converged technology, containerization, and serverless services
Preferred 2 years - Hold one or more Cloud certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or Microsoft Azure Architect Design and/or equivalent work experience
Preferred 2 years - Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering; Master’s degree a plus and/or equivalent work experience
Preferred 2 years - Experience developing systems in state government and/or the financial industry
Preferred 2 years - Experience with designing API framework or integration service bus with products like MuleSoft
