Job Description
Our Direct Client is seeking an experienced, full-time, on-site, dedicated Candidate, with skills and expertise as described in below requirement.

The Data Architect will provide database development and systems analysis in the implementation of the Client Applications.

Responsibilities:
Plan, design, develop, enhance, maintain and support databases underlying Client applications portfolio. Support the Oracle versions 11x and 12x database development, reporting, transformation, migration, and performance tuning needs of application developers utilizing JAVA/J2EE, Spring Frameworks, Spring MVC, JSPs, jQuery, Bootstrap, and IBM WebSphere. Responsible for performing advanced logical database development, performance monitoring and tuning, and providing database related support to the application development teams. Supports the database / applications enhancements and defect corrections in maintenance mode. Supports applications in multiple environments with coding testing, peer reviews, documentation, defect root cause analysis, and troubleshooting as required. Available for on-call support as needed. Other duties as assigned and required by the unit operations.

Skill Required/Desired
Experience with Oracle 11x, 12x and later versions (Required - 6 years)
Experience in writing SQL for relational databases (Required - 6 years)
Experience designing, developing, and supporting Oracle databases (Required - 6 years)
Experience troubleshooting and performance tuning Oracle (Required - 6 years)
Experience creating new databases, writing stored procedures, writing views, managing database security, developing reports, and ad-hoc queries (Required - 6 years)
Experience documenting database design, processes, and interfaces (Required - 4 years)
Experience supporting application development on J2EE and WebSphere platform (Required - 4 years)
Experience working with project teams utilizing Agile project management principles/methodology (Required - 4 years)
Experience working with customers to document and implement data and reporting requirements (Required - 4 years)
Experience with Health and Human Services or other State Agency (Preferred - 2 years)
